Saturday, August 1, 2020 - Opaque ruby purple color turning violet at the rim with a transparent edge. The legs indicate high viscosity and confirmed by the label at 14.9%. The nose is very ripe and on high octane with notes of blueberry, vanilla, and blue flowers. The palate is full-bodied, creamy with a velvety texture. There’s medium minus acidity that isn’t able to carry the ripeness of the fruits through. Flavors of dark cherry, blueberry compote, dark chocolate form the core. Finishes long and smooth. Drink now until 2030.
