Wednesday, September 2, 2020 - This needs time to open up. Decanted in wide body decanter. Persistence of alcohol on the nose and palate first 30 mins. Black cherry, cocoa, black olive, Dutch liquorice. Really came alive in third hour with some depth and complexity. More spice and dried herb notes. I’m burying our last bottle for 4-5 more years.
