Saturday, September 19, 2020 - Stewed red fruit and pink Bubblicious gum on the nose. deft and delicious without being showy. Darker fruits across the tongue; supple mid-palate. Finish is understated but correct, maybe a tad disappointing given the early stages of the experience.

9/20/2020 12:22:00 PM - THANK you for your efforts in having posted this! :) Did you mean that the finish was somewhat disappointing in comparison to the front palate?

9/20/2020 2:22:00 PM - Context here. I had this after a 2016 Cayuse Caillou. Equally impressive but stylistically different. Would I have liked a longer finish on the Bedrock, yes; but by no means a disappointment.

9/20/2020 2:39:00 PM - TY for the clarification, Sauvyfan! :) "I had this after a 2016 Cayuse Caillou. Equally impressive but stylistically different." While I've but read 'bout my cellared bottle of the Bedrock, I have tasted the '16 Caillou (9/7/19 TN), & I'm thinking "stylistically different" might just be a classic understatement! ;)
