Saturday, September 26, 2020 - Kicked off the BDay weekend with this gem, and am happy to say that it lived up to the high expectations that I had. Compared to the M.Etain from a couple weeks back, it just had a whole other gear.

2 hour decant revealed a combination of cinnamon, butter, vanilla, and, cocoa, on the nose and black fruits on the palate. Plenty of tannins and acidity to go the distance. Preferred day 1 (with Flannery Jorge Ribeye) over day 2 (Cold water lobster tails with Garlic Butter), but that might just have been due to the pairing.
