Tuesday, September 29, 2020 - Medium ruby. On the nose medium + intensity of toast, smoke, red cherries, strawberries. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium fine ripe tannins, high alcohol, medium body and medium plus flavor intensity of toast, smoke, red cherries, strawberries. The finish is medium plus and pleasing but not layered. The wine is good demonstrating intensity and some length on the finish. However, the wine lacks balance and complexity. It is an obviously oaked Pinot with ripe fruit, easy drinking style.
