Friday, October 2, 2020 - Decanted 3 hrs. Served in a Riedel BUrg Stem, and I wonder if it was the best stemware choice. I really liked the nose, some exotic xmas spices and dark plums. While a very good CDP - I did find a touch of heat on the finish. I think this was better 5 years ago. Still, fun wine.

10/2/2020 7:46:00 PM - I think you are right about needing a narrower glass choice. I have found Burg stems to emphasize the heat in both CdP and Barolo.
