Thursday, November 5, 2020 - Mid straw, golden colour and the glass, very bright with a fine bead.

On the nose there is baked apple, citrus, honey, toasted nuts, yeast, bread and butter - very complex and very Krug.

Excellent tension, weight and great length and persistence on the palate - in fact unbelievably long and precise. Very fresh, lemons, limes, tropical fruits, peaches, spices and wood notes. Very elegant, and balanced - you really get the richness of the pinot and purity and acidity of chardonnay. This is a monumental and magnificent champagne.

It is still tightly bound and has more development and upside.
