Tuesday, November 10, 2020 - The wine was deep purple at the core and fuscia at the rim. It was opaque and clear with slow moving viscosity.Alcohol was 14.1%
On the nose I smelled black cherry, blackberry and herbatious tones with a hint of oak
On the palate the wine was dry not off dry and was very fruity giving the impression of sweetness. I tasted black cherry and blackberry and oak.The wine was well balance with tannins, acid and alcohol medium. This wine is not approachable a this age and needs at least 4 more years in the bottle. If you are going to drink it now drink it with a rib roast, steak or fatty dry cheese.
