90 Points

Saturday, February 20, 2021 - Pop'n Pour. A little shy at first, but opens up nicely with half an hour in the glass. Lots of red berries on the nose - raspberries, wild strawberries, cranberries. At the same time great esrthiness and faint vegetal tones, the combination pulls me in the direction of beetroots. In addition, smoke and toasted wood and a nice spicy touch. Structured in the mouth with medium mouthfeel. Slim and cool style, but still a good concentration of fruit. A light veil of tannins in the middle part that tightens in a firm and dry finish. Brilliant length. Good acidity. All in all, an energetic and good red burgundy with all elements in balance. Not very complex, no wow-factor, but it gives me exactly what I want from a red burgundy at this level. No rush to pop bottles of this, but it is also in a nice place now with some air.
