Friday, March 5, 2021 - Vibrant purple color. Bold noise with black fruits, blue berries, cedar, minerals, and eucalyptus. Palate is nicely balanced; still a bit tannic with rich fruit but not a fruit bomb. Lovely intensity with nice balancing acidity, not sense of alcohol and a nice long finish. Quite drinkable now, but tannin and balance will make this age with grace. More similar to a 2016 Bordeaux than most Napas. I like Kathy's wines -- elegant and very pretty.
