Wednesday, December 31, 2008 - Mineral nose with berry overtones. Good legs. Inky rose red color. Pleasant, full body. Austere flavors of sweet plums, earthy tones, cherry, and some leather. Long, lingering finish of oak and sweet vanilla. I noticed that the finish was somewhat bitter and hot after opening, but way different and better 1.5 hours later. Good value for the price.
