Friday, April 23, 2021 - Barrel sample. Always one of my favorite wines, we caught this one in a shut down phase. My last note would be a better indication of my thoughts on this wine, since it wasn't giving up much on this occasion.

4/29/2021 4:51:00 PM - Crazy as my sample was in super high gear which gets back to the unfortunate part of barrel sampling when there is a higher tiered wine of not knowing if the barrel sample you had goes in the upper tier or the SVD. All I know is the sample I had was firing on all cylinders which means we had different samples for sure.

4/29/2021 4:53:00 PM - LIOF: No doubt. I had this a couple months previously, and it was rocking. Who knows what this issue was on this night, but both CSIMM and I noticed it immediately.
