Sunday, May 9, 2021 - Decanted and served. Really a big wine still, dense fruit showing plum, dark berries, cassis and wood. Smooth and a little slick, for lack of a better word. Lots of fruit and tannins resolving still, this may still improve with more cellar time. Nice food wine, especially beef.

5/9/2021 9:24:00 AM - Hello M, I have a fair amount of the '09 and '10. Myself and others have noticed a little bottle variation with both vintages. If you decide to try, perhaps a more recent ('16, or '19) vintage may be the way to go. Just a bottle or two to see what you think. My understanding is that this wine has become less "parkerized" over time. Stay safe.
