2007 Copain Syrah Harrison Clarke

Community Tasting Note

Likes this wine:

Saturday, May 22, 2021 - Pnp. Really dark purple youthful color. Nose of blackberry, huckleberry, bacon, smoke. Mouth of black fruit, olive, licorice, savory. Good acid, good tannins still. Has that kind of sour fruitiness that I like. A little heat from the 14.7% alcohol on the finish. Not over the hill but probably at a plateau for a couple more years.
