Sunday, January 11, 2009 - Pale ruby with just a hint of amber at the edge. Elegant nose offers up violet, red cherry, powdered stone and baking spices - pure and totally captivating. Graceful and harmonious in the mouth, this is all silk and roses and offers admirable intensity of flavor while gliding along weightlessly on the palate. Finish is long and combines purity of Chambolle fruit and a nice earth/spice mix. Really beautiful wine, the type that could only have come from Burgundy. Drinking well now but still has lots of life.....
