Sunday, August 1, 2021 - This is 50% Carmenere, then Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, and only then Malbec; it's more of a Bordeaux blend. It tastes of black cherries, dark fruit, a hint of ash, chocolate, tobacco. Acidity medium, strong tannins, it's a bold big wine. Somewhat brash but quite tasty. We had it with ribeye.
