Sunday, August 15, 2021 - Quite surprising, actually. I cannot recall this wine, from other vintages, lasting much more than a decade, never mind two. Very smooth, with deep fruit, soft tannins and just a hint of acid for balance. A bit more acid balance and I would have put it in the 97 range. Mocha and blueberry (not raspberry) hints. Structurally intact.
I say no hurry; good for another 5 years at least.
