Friday, August 20, 2021 - Opened for 3 hours. Color is deep garnet and very opaque. On the nose: Cassis, vanilla, violets. On the palate: I think it’s a bit closed off at moment but I get Plum, cassis, dark chocolate , espresso and Baking spices. Velvety mouthfeel. It’s way to young to drink but the bones and class are there. I am biased as I am a huge fan of Vega Sicilia Unico and drink maybe a bottle a year when I want a real treat which I wanted today. I have not had one in a while. I have a case and I need to resist for at least 5 years. I think it scores much higher in future maybe 96+.
