Saturday, September 4, 2021 - Side-by-side 04 & 07 Fuligni BdM. 04 smokey and tart on the nose. Flowers, lychee. Fresh and light on the front of the palate, with excellent grip and length. 07 nose warmer, dried cherries, rounder and softer mouthfeel, focused on the front of the palate. Both delicious but the characteristics of each vintage show clearly. 07 probably near its peak, I think the 04 has several more years of potential.
