91 Points

Tuesday, September 7, 2021 - 91-92pts. 60% Malbec, 20% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Franc. Upon opening this bottle this smelled and tasted like a pure Malbec, but, as it mellowed with air, its Syrah and Cab Franc components became more prominent. Looking at my notes, I wrote down fig, plum, some tar and earth, coffee, and black cherries. It is a medium-bodied blend that possesses decent complexity, but not a lot of length. Good for everyday drinking, but a bit expensive for an Argentine wine of this pedigree.
