Saturday, October 2, 2021 - Decanted for a good hour and needed. Haven’t had this for 8 years ( Papies 92) and was a great to cross paths with it once again now almost 20 years old. The 2003 vintage is present in the soft singe on the fruit but this is a great 2003 and made with a soft hand and thus maintains an elegance and freshness usually lacking from often burnt 2003s. Very good 92.
For the lovers of the what causes high alcohol in modern wines , ie is it Global Warming or excessive Fruit selection this wine tips the scales to the fruit selection as this is 12.9% alc in a year that was probably the hottest ever in Bordeaux.

10/3/2021 7:03:00 AM - Thanks for the helpful note Papies. What's your guess about going forward for this? I have 2of3 left. Current thoughts would be my next around 2023+ and the last one based on how the 2023/24 btl preformed.
Thanks
