Saturday, October 9, 2021 - Drank with Kelly at Morrissey’s in Saratoga. I was a bit concerned we were drinking too soon given the other notes, but we were pleasantly surprised as we enjoyed this bottle. Opened and poured into glass while we drank our cocktails. Began drinking within a half hour of opening. It was tight initially, but this wine was singing within an hour and continued to improve over the next couple hours. Dark fruit, cassis, leather, graphite and earth tones. Very enjoyable with steak frites and looking forward to enjoying the rest of these in years to come.
