Friday, November 5, 2021 - Violets, black and blue fruits and espresso on the nose. A concentrated, rich body with a soft, but definite structure. Very modern, California-like styling, but the Bordeaux pedigree is not at all hidden. In a great place right now, with gentle cedary tannins on the finish, just enough to hold up to filet mignon kebabs with a chimichurri garnish. Thinking 2008 is a somewhat underrated year for Bordeaux...
