Thursday, December 9, 2021 - Dark ruby colour, no sign on aging on the rim yet. On the nosed, pronounced leafiness, though not unattractive. Good breadth and depth of flavours on the palate, leafiness carrying over and noticeable tannins on the finish. Lovely wine but i suspect needs more time. Bottle was opened at 3pm and poured at 8pm and drank over two hours. After an hour in the glass, leafiness was more muted and wine gained in weight and depth with smoky and earthy notes coming thru.
