Monday, December 20, 2021 - Still a deep, almost impenetrable, purple belying its age. Very dark fruited, especially noticeable as it was drunk along some classified Bordeauxs of a similar age. This showed tar, boot polish, creosote, licorice and a hint of vanilla on the nose and delivered a plushly textured, full-bodied blast of dark fruit and an incredibly long finish. Excellent.
