Thursday, August 11, 2022 - Coravin’ed a taste. Surprised to discover a beaujolais that is too young to drink. Radiant almost neon purple color. Fruit is there and robust but it is a bit overpowered by tannins, acidity and strong notes of cedar. Yes it is a gamay. Impressive. It just needs another five years of aging minimum to balance itself but it is not there yet.
