Tuesday, August 16, 2022 - A lovely, medium bodied Cabernet. Florals and fruit on the nose. Blackcurrant and berries, some red berry action too, stony acidity, spice. If I was to criticise, it would be that I found the vanilla/custard oak a bit too prominent, although it settled more into the wine the longer it was open. The tannins have already softened significantly, although real complexity yet to come. Maybe lacks a bit of fruit depth and length for a higher score. Still, a high class wine.
