Saturday, September 24, 2022 - More Burgundian than any of John's pinots that I've tried (and I've tried a lot)...there is tension and balance, and most surprisingly an almost citric/lime oil character to the acidity that is rather magical. This is a remarkably serious tasting wine from a producer that I already think of as a master of deliciousness and QPR. He caught lightning in a bottle here.
