Saturday, October 8, 2022 - There we go. A long airing relaxes the wine and eliminates the fizzy impression that in my view does nothing but stand in the way of the proper flavours. Still a bit green though.

12/1/2022 7:57:00 PM - Do you think the fizziness was flaw related? My cork smells quite woody although not clearly TCA and there's noticeable gas on the glass. Confused as other PNs I've had from E&M don't show this way and I agree with your previous comment that this isn't showing well relative to their other vintages.

I have had 3 or 4 of the ’20s and they were very similair. Maybe the grapes were a little unripe or maybe whole bunches were used? Unfortunately, I’ve never had any contact with E & M personally and know little of the details.
