Saturday, October 8, 2022 - Oh my word this is rather good. Quite a lot of oak on the nose and palate. It’s burgundy but with dialled up richness, sweetness and softness that you would expect from a US wine.
It’s Sonoma coast though so isn’t too much.
Despite the depth, and full on nature it has a decent sharp acidic finish and spice

I say it’s not too full on and it’s Sonoma coast (with 12-14% chards on the whole ) but this is 15% which is SQN and big Napa territory

Saying that I’d have guessed at 14 %

A very good wine and even more impressive now knowing the ABV.
