Sunday, October 9, 2022 - Decanted for about an hour. The wine initially came off as austere, maybe a bit hot, but with air and time became a hit. Paired with grilled ribeye, baked, potato, and salad. It initially had herbal notes on the nose, and there was a worry in the beginning that it may have lost some fruit. it initially finished a bit hot. All of that went away with time in the decanter, and it was a terrific pairing for this meal.
