Sunday, October 23, 2022 - Drank last of four purchased for $12.99 in 1990 in Oct 2022; 36 years old; tough to get moldy cork out but got it out clean, decanted clear, deep garnet with slight edge of amber; old winey leather nose but clean and fresh in spite of scary looking cork; fresh and clean in mouth with fruit mostly gone yielding spice box and leather; acidic slight tart finish that should be nice with steak; after a while tobacco, cherry and a touch of vanilla presented and lingered on a medium to long finish. Very enjoyable.
