Wednesday, October 26, 2022 - The wine is deep red and clear. Closed and mute upon opening. Spent the evening in a wide decanter, and significantly opened up. Nose of wax, black tea, concentrated cherry, fruit syrup, and hints of tar. As a relatively young Barolo it obviously has noticeable tannins. Still, they are not perceived as destructive. Cherry, tobacco, leather, and concentrated red fruit. Dry. Long. Will last.
