Friday, November 25, 2022 - Tasted after a one hour decant.
Dark ruby in colour with pleasant aromas of sweet black fruit, cassis & leather.
On the palate, full bodied tart black fruit, boysenberry//cassis/black cherry, leather, earthy, well integrated oak, medium acidity, high slightly angular tannins with a long finish to tar & pepper.
Flavour is good, but this wine could benefit from more cellar time!
