Friday, April 17, 2009 - Mourvedre shines through on the nose, with blueberry and black raspberry, rock/mineral, roasted meat with bay leaf, chocolate, beet root?, purple flowers and spices. Palate comes off as medium bodied, with robust acidity, and more spicy than fruity. Listed at 15.9% alcohol, but seems much less.
