2015 Château Brane-Cantenac

Community Tasting Note

Wednesday, December 14, 2022 - Very young, not nearly as far along as d'Issan which is less mature than Malescot. Therefore, I can't score it, would have been able to do so years ago when I bought it. Will sip over hours, 2d half tomorrow. Wrote this to dissuade owners 'wasting' a bottle. Too soon.

12/17/2022 4:28:00 PM - Thank you. FYI the 2d half of the bottle was less inviting and I chose to dump it in favor of a Young's Chocolate Stout (yup, I love ales). Also FYI I drank the 1st half of a 2016 d'Issan after a 2.5 decant and it was quite pleasant, liked it although clearly young. (Why drink it now? Realized my age and health conditions don't align well with 2015/2016 Margaux and my optimism was misplaced in remembering my 80's experiences.) Best wishes, happy holidays.
