Tuesday, December 20, 2022 - I am definitely a Vermentino fan but this one is on steroids. Creamy body. All the waxy/nutty/almond paste character a good Vermentino delivers, but more intense and persistent. Fantastic acidity. And an oddly spicy finish that leaves the mouth tingling. There are yellow apple and pineapple notes that emerge on the finish. A dazzling and sumptuous wine.
