Sunday, December 18, 2022 - Lovely deep ruby color, turning garnet. Nose is dark, deep, smoky, mineral-laden, and cherry cough syrup. Although the bouquet is ever so pleasing, the otherworldly mouthfeel sets this wine apart. Its footprint is almost non-existent. The tannins are so soft and fine, it is as if the lightest of cashmere tippy-toed across the tongue, barely leaving an impression. Remarkably palate caressing! The flavors of cherry cola and allspice left the sweetest of memories.
