Saturday, January 14, 2023 - Black fruit bomb in nose, red in palate. Strong oak gets stable after 20-30 mins of breathing, and then it’s just spectacular. Blackberry, cherry, plum, tobacco, vanilla in nose with intensity. Soft medium tannin and velvety texture make this great. Though sangiovese is not main variety in the bottle, the small portion shows the tuscan character with gentle acidity, and makes it distinguishable from Bordeaux blend.
