Saturday, December 31, 2022 - Last tasted over 15 years ago and consistently wonderful while aging, this was in surprisingly wonderful shape. Strong red-fruit notes, tannin growing over time, and a mature-but-not-old feel: a lovely mix of its early tannic features and its later "fruit bomb" elements. Amazingly, this was still drinkable on the second night (a rare occurrence for me).
