Saturday, January 21, 2023 - Initial nose was of cedar and maybe some light green notes but on day two the green was gone and replaced by tobacco aromas. Much better tonight than last night with blackcurrant and other dark fruit like maybe plums. The length is superb as the black fruit starts to dominate. The Comtessa should be proud of this effort. Frankly I love PL in off vintages. The 1988 remains my favorite of those.

2/15/2023 5:59:00 AM - Nice...I just grabbed PLL '88 and '01!....may snag a '93 at auction...I am a big fan of this sneaky '93 vintage, insanely classic! In fact '93 D'issan was my WOTY for '22...and I had lots of 1st growths from both banks. 😊
