Friday, February 3, 2023 - I wasn't sold on this Turley Zin on the initial glass pour on the first night open, but this improved significantly on nights 2 and 3. The wine definitely is well structured, and maybe there some kind of Mission grape hiding in there. Whatever the case, it was a little goofy at first but ultimately an enjoyable Turley Zin with the typical fine balance on display. I expect this will be better in 3-5 years. The fruit was not a highlight, but the structure, balance, and length and acidity were all aligned.
