Thursday, February 16, 2023 - This was a beautiful wine. Nice purple color with just a hint of orange around the edge. A little red fruit on the nose, with some earth and leather hints as well. Fruits are muted just a bit and tannins are smoothed out, but this wine still shows a lot of balance. Nice, pleasant, juicy finish. Served with Polenta, ribeye and roasted broccolini, it was a perfect compliment.
