Wednesday, February 15, 2023 - THAT Super Village (Yan): Thought this was a little muted and needed some time to unfurl in glass. Once it did, there was no stopping it.

Dried flowers, iron, orange peel and earth come to the fore with pure and clean dark fruit, morels, sandalwood spice more apparent on the palate. Atypical and showing classic Gevrey terroir, but perhaps in the hands of Rousseau, the purity of fruit shone more.
