Sunday, March 19, 2023 - This Syrah is one of the greatest syrah's I have ever tasted. It's a monumental wine. It's as smooth as silk. It's got that tabacco flavour in the edge of your mouth when drinking it. A hint of pepper. A beautiful black doris plum sweet edge to it. I can rave on all you want. But it's an incredible wine from a fantastic vintage

But right now it is drinking beautifully. I removed the cork from the bottle and went and put it outside under cover to make sure the wine was cooler. I did not decant it intentionally. It was about 14 degrees when tasted.
