Tuesday, March 28, 2023 - Heater week; 3/26/2023-4/3/2023 (Chicago, IL): No. 1694 of 4500. Unmistakably young Rioja. Plenty of oak, plenty of leathery tannins and black fruit, but relatively light in texture on the palate until the tannins. Acidity that gives this wine excellent lightness as well. Very drinkable now.
