Saturday, April 1, 2023 - Initial 1 hour decant. Still a rich ruby color. Long legs. From the first sip, the long, lingering (drying) finish stands out. Alcohol and acidity are well-integrated in a medium-bodied wine. Smoke and a damp pine-forest floor on the nose. Savory black cherry fruit on the palate, spice notes and a hint of dry leather. Great QPR, and the wine continued to evolve and improve with time.
