Thursday, April 6, 2023 - Three hour slow ox. Deep dark electric magenta color. Black cherry, coffee cake, and subtle cinnamon graham cracker. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm, full, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish.

Despite being a touch Caymus-esque (i.e., slightly syrupy/extracted), this is pretty great for the money. Very reliable, easy drinker from TRB. Certainly built to drink young. I’m looking forward to trying the ‘21s.

4/16/2023 6:10:00 AM - I read your comment in March advocating to drink this as a pop & pour, but see you noted a 3 hr slow ox on this bottle. Which showed better for you?

4/16/2023 7:46:00 AM - Thanks for the quick response. I did my first as a pop & pour, so will try another this week with an hour or so of air.
