Sunday, April 9, 2023 - Really interesting savoury nose. Polyphenols. Dark cherry. These extend onto the palate. Wine is quite structured with tannins. These softened after decanting an hour and time in the glass. Smoothed quite a lot into a nicely integrated, complex and interesting wine. Nice freshness. Long. Really enjoyed it. I'm very keen on Pinot Noir, Nerello Mascalese and Nebbiolo. It's very much in those mounds for me, whilst still being its own thing.
