Saturday, April 29, 2023 - Limpid red, vibrant dark berry nose, very slight funkiness/volatile acidity, lighter bodied and much clearer early on than over time (and what exactly explains that? I wonder). Hints of astringency on the finish - almost pine resiny - and that astringency hangs on for a good long minute or two. This is seriously gluggable juice. Not your everyday cru Beaujolais, that’s for sure!
